About the place

Standing at the northern boundary of the complex, the commercial high-rise operates as an independent office tower with integrated electrical infrastructure.

The current skyscraper replaced an earlier office tower destroyed during the September attacks. Developed by Larry Silverstein through a ground lease with the Port Authority, the site sits on land bordered by Greenwich, Vesey, Washington, and Barclay Streets. Construction began with rebuilding the underground substation to restore municipal power before workers erected the steel frame and poured the inner concrete core.

Upper levels hold major financial and scientific tenants, including the New York Academy of Sciences and commercial analysts.
