O miejscu

Saint-Aignan d'Orléans anchors the historic Bourgogne quarter as a dedicated collegiate sanctuary.

The site stands in the Bourgogne quarter along the northern embankment as a historic collegiate church. The building honors Anianus, an early bishop who led the local Christian community during antiquity. Local tradition credits this bishop with negotiating directly with Attila the Hun to protect the settlement from destruction. Today the surrounding lanes provide a preserved architectural setting for neighborhood life.
