Ehyyy...I booked tickets to Alcatraz for the 6 July!!! Alcatraz and history go hand in hand. Once home to some of America's most notorious criminals, the federal penitentiary that operated here from 1934 to 1963 brought a dark mystique to the Rock. The presence of infamous inmates like Al "Scarface" Capone, and the "Birdman" Robert Stroud helped to establish the island's notoriety. To this day, Alcatraz is best known as one of the world's most legendary prisons. Many people, though, are unaware of the wealth of other stories to be learned on the island. Alcatraz is now home to rare flowers and plants, marine wildlife, and thousands of roosting and nesting sea birds. Civil War-era buildings dotting the island give insight into the 19th century when the island served as both a harbor defense fort and a military prison. You can also see visible reminders of the American Indian Occupation that started in 1969 after the prison closed, highlighting an important milestone in the American Indian rights movement. На днях ко мне в ресторан пришла компания из 4 человек.Мама папа и 2 мужчины...с обрyчальными кольцами на палцах!...Обслуживала их стол я!!! Таким милым тоном обшались друг с дрyгом....И тут до меня вдрyг дошло...что они "Сладенькие"!!!!!ну мы так прозвали геев... Весь ужин они держались за руку....А папа и мама это родители одного из них которые пришли их навестить...Бедные родители...Ето какую психику надо имет чтобы осознать что твое дитя не такое как все и любит не девушку как ето задымала мать природа, а парня!!!! После работы пришла домой и проверила фотки с гей парада и нашла фоткы етих сладеньких...Можете посмотрет у меня в албоме...Они в розовйх маячках с надписью "I love my INDIAN "
Йоу! 3 недели я здесь! С ума можно сойти! Так и месяц скоро будет, можно подводить какие-то промежуточные итоги! Сегодня мой спокойный сон был прерван криками «хэй». Это был Саша. «Давай, поехали!» «Куда?» «В Даунтаун (центр)» И все так загадочно, непонятно, как будто революцию замышляем. Оказалось, что мы поехали в музей Кока-Колы. Были там около 2 часов, потратил 15 $, напился разной колы со всего мира (России, конечно, не оказалось). Но обо всем по порядку. Кока-Кола была изобретена аптекарем из города Атланты Джон С. Пимбертоном в 1886. С тех пор она непрерывно завоевывала свои позиции во всем мире. В самом первом зале нас ожидала реклама Кока-Колы разных лет, где самое старое было изображение колокола, призывающего пить «это» за 5 центов в 1886. Далее нас ожидал мультреклама ( Happiness Factory ), того самого, которого крутит сейчас кола по телевизору с разными уродцами. Забавный, веселый мультик, рассказывающей о том, что творится в автомате по продаже бутылок. Главный посыл - кола это здорово, все мы любим свою работу, мы часть целого, вкладываем душу в каждую бутылку. Далее шло лобби, где можно было сфотографироваться с белым медведем (классная работа, сидишь, рот открываешь, все довольны), что я и сделал, фотографии и видео выложу в дальнейшем. Затем шла история колы. Но она занимает не так много места, в основном картинки, видео, нужно же больше развлечений, нудноватая история «не идет». С другой стороны, особо многого про напиток не узнаешь, так как отвлекаешься много на всякие другие вещи. После этого нам показали конвейер, типа-типа настоящий, типа-типа так на фабрике у них. Всеобщее внимание привлекла камера, в которую все смотрели (я состроил пару лиц для досье полиции) и фотографировались. Второй этаж-кинотеатр 4 D (нам дали понтовые очки, смотри в альбоме), про 4 секретных ингредиента успеха напитка (сахар, кокаиновая пыль, немного нефти, заряженная вода). Вообще да? Я тоже не поверил, если бы они это сказали. Они и не сказали. Все проще - неповторимый вкус, удобная бутылка, широкая популярность и, конечно, мы с вами. Здорово было, во время просмотра дрожали кресла, лилась вода на нас, со спины ударяли пружиной, подимались, дети чуть не обоссались в зале. После такого надо было посмотреть Уорхолла и его восприятие колы и, безусловно, испробовать всю ту бурду, которую выпускают во всем мире эта компания. Было 5 колонн (Азия, Европа, Африка, Латинская Америка, Северная Америка), у каждой можно было попробовать по 6-7 разных вкусов. В некоторых была откровенная бурда, где-то очень даже ничего ( Индия мне понравилась, вкус ананас-орех). В заключении я набрал 3 бутылки колы, из-за чего на меня испуганно посмотрели и сказали - только одну можно. После этого прямиком на работу. День был очень меленный, 77 человек. Пришлось тянуть бумажки и в этот раз, я вытянул раньше нашего начальник и поэтому он пошел домой, так как оставшаяся была помечена. День немного «смазал» менеджер Дэвид. Какая-то бездомная женщина нарядилась в тряпье и стала скакать за окном, он мне и говорит: «О, Николай, там твоя девушка тебя ждет!» Ух как я завелся, глаза наверное стали такими злыми, что он немного обалдел и сразу: «Я шучу, шучу, успокойся приятель!». Мне кажется, тебе стоит выйти к ней, она все же ждет ТЕБЯ-сказал я ему «Да ладно, все отлично, это же шутка!» Ну не строятся у нас хорошие отношения с Дэвидом. Что же, по крайней мере, он редко к нам ходит и поэтому вижу я его раза 3 в день.
Kubissenova Saltanat IEC Kazakhstan 8th group International exchange program: now and in the future There are many programs available today, in the twenty-first century, that offer the chance to travel, study and work abroad. We witness people successfully returning home after having participated in an international program, providing positive feedback, and recommending others to participate. The key to a future that is sustainable, one where the generation is educated and has a wider worldview, is giving students these possibilities. My university provided me with the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student in Lithuania last semester. At the age of 18 years old, I was a young girl who had never left her home country. Sincerely, it was quite challenging to be alone with strangers and away from home. However, over time, these random strangers turned into my closest friends. During my six-month study abroad, in Lithuania, Samantha and I lived in the same room. In a way, Samantha was my sister, or "sorella" in Italian.This second-year Italian master's student helped me adapt to the community at a foreign university and introduced me to other Erasmus students. It was wonderful for me to be acquainted with individuals from Turkey, Korea, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Indonesia, Morocco and India since they all had unique personalities and were a part of their different cultures. I made an attempt to manage my courses so that I could return to my former university with a satisfactory grade. At Kaunas University of Technology, where I spent the whole semester studying, we were taught how to learn more effectively. I found that studying in Europe is relatively simpler than in Kazakhstan, considering the practically identical educational system. For instance, we just took the midterm and final examinations at KTU, which felt more comfortable to me than the midterm, endterm, and final exams we take at my own university. Actually, I had four school courses in total, and they were all very different from one another. As a student of mathematical science speciality, I found learning about physics to be somewhat difficult. Despite this, I was able to pass each subject with honors, and I returned to my Suleyman Demirel university with pleasure. A trip to Copenhagen with my friend Elmira from Kazakhstan and two korean girls is among the memories I will not soon forget. We arrived at 7 a.m. without carefully checking our flight while the flight was scheduled to leave at 10 a.m. When we could not find our flight in the list of flights for the following two hours, we became really anxious. We asked the airport employees, after that we recognized our faults, and made the choice to wait for our flight. In the airport, we fell asleep while hugging our luggage. Nevertheless, we traveled about Copenhagen for two days, enjoying traditional delicacies and seeing the origin of the well-known Copenhagen Tigers store. I am delighted to get the opportunity and fulfill a childhood dream of mine by traveling to the city of love, Paris. Even at first glance, it is obvious that this country is a megalopolis with magnificent historical buildings that gives a completely European atmosphere, which I want to return to. Work and travel is one of the well-known programs that helps students find employment abroad and travel throughout the USA. Every year, this program sends a large number of students to America to pursue their dreams. Programs offer all assistance, including aid in locating employment, assistance with obtaining a visa, and contact information for 24-hour emergency services in the USA. With the help of this curriculum, students learn to push themselves beyond their comfort zones and work hard to earn money for fun and pleasure.
