À propos du lieu

Giambologna carved the marble group to demonstrate technical mastery over complex multi-figure movement in space.

Because the artwork is permanently displayed in a public loggia, viewing requires no museum ticket or indoor queue. Long-term residents must account for steady tourist traffic along the central corridor connecting the Uffizi to the municipal palace, which makes the surrounding plaza difficult to traverse during working hours.
