About the place

Bangkok City Pillar Shrine Theater stages classical dance performances within the sacred foundation site of the capital.

The open-air pavilion stages traditional Lakhon Chatri dance troupes hired by visitors to honor the city guardian spirits. Spectators standing beside the active ceremonial grounds watch costumed dancers perform alongside live classical percussion.
