About the place

Lord Foster's skyscraper defines modern corporate Madrid.

Torre Moeve forms part of the Cuatro Torres Business Area, planned by architect Lord Foster and constructed by Dragados with Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas. Residents commonly refer to the skyscraper as Torre Foster. The building stands directly behind Torre de Cristal among the tallest high-rises in Spain and the wider European Union, dominating the skyline seen from northern Chamartín.

Corporate ownership shifts have repeatedly rewritten the building identity. Initially conceived as Torre Repsol for an oil and gas company, the property passed to financial group Caja Madrid during construction and later into the portfolio of Pontegadea Inmobiliaria. Energy company Moeve currently occupies the headquarters, though ongoing relocation plans mean the tower frequently adapts its corporate designation.
