Workers based around Cuatro Torres trade traditional street life for isolated corporate plazas and an underground metro commute.
Argentine architect César Pelli designed the corporate high-rise alongside Spanish architects Íñigo Ortiz and Enrique León. The structure occupies the Cuatro Torres Business Area within the Fuencarral-El Pardo district. Shifting facade planes along the upper levels create the visual effect of carved crystal, with continuous exterior glazing reflecting changing sky conditions across the northern horizon.
Builder Dragados completed the project under structural engineers José Ignacio Viñals Millán and César Herrera Castilla for the insurance company Mutua Madrileña. The property functions entirely as corporate offices above subterranean parking decks. An integrated bioclimatic glass wall system automates solar shading, manages internal airflow, and secures top environmental efficiency marks.
