I tak, przez dziwny zbieg okoliczności, Houston trafiło do naszego kalendarza podróży! Rezerwując wcześniej hostel i kupując nowe bilety na Greyhound, które kosztowały 50 dolców, wyjechałyśmy do Houston we wtorek po obiedzie. W Houston robi się ciemno o 7. Więc kiedy wysiadłyśmy na stacji Greyhound w Downtown, słońce już prawie zaszło. Z ogromną walizką wlókłyśmy się w stronę, gdzie przypuszczalnie miał być nasz hostel. Downtown nie jest bezpieczne. Humor zniknął. Spacerowałyśmy po pięknym parku z jeziorem i darmowym Wi-Fi, kiedy nagle się o tym dowiedziałyśmy. Jakie 1000 dolców? Skąd weźmiemy dodatkowe pieniądze? Ania dzwoniła do Greyhound, żeby dowiedzieć się o bilety do Arizony. Ale telefon się wyłączył. WTF?! Mówię: trzeba było zostać w Dallas, czekać na autobus, a my utknęłyśmy tutaj. Pokłóciwszy się z Anią, postanowiłyśmy pójść coś zjeść, naładować telefon i zamówić bilety na autobus przez internet. Wokół tak pięknie, a my nie w humorze. Przeszłyśmy przez park rzeźb. Uspokaja. Wszyscy ludzie odpoczywają, czytają, a my nie wiemy, co robić. CO robić? Poszłyśmy do Starbucksa. Pozostawało mieć nadzieję, że jeśli wcześniej odwołamy nasz rejs z Nowego Orleanu, zwrócą nam przynajmniej część z 502 dolarów. Ania dzwoniła na lotnisko. Rozmawiała bardzo długo. Powiedzieli jej, że nasz piątkowy rejs z Nowego Orleanu też odwołali! I wymienią bilety! Polecimy do Flagstaff z Houston. I nie trzeba będzie płacić!
