O miejscu

Scientific instruments and historical machines occupy the former priory of Saint-Martin-des-Champs.

The industrial design museum preserves the collection gathered by the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers. Its permanent galleries display early scientific apparatus and mechanical inventions. Curators divide the collection between the historic priory of Saint-Martin-des-Champs and an adjoining modern wing. The largest technical apparatus remains mounted directly inside the vaulted medieval abbey hall.
