Lustgarten is an urban park on Museum Island in central Berlin, positioned directly in front of the Altes Museum and next to the Berliner Dom. Today the open lawn positions visitors directly between the museum facade and the adjacent cathedral.

Over its history the grounds shifted roles repeatedly, serving as a military parade ground and later as an assembly site for mass political rallies. Those formal uses gave way to its current identity as an open municipal park. Anyone staying nearby finds a communal lawn where local workers take midday pauses alongside travellers visiting the island institutions.
