Հյուսթոն, Տեխաս Բացի քաղաքը տեսնելուց, ինձ ինտերնետ էր պետք՝ Hurricane Ike-ին հետևելու համար, քանի որ ես գնում եմ Նոր Օռլեան =/ Գրադարան գտա, շատ լավն էր, երկու ժամ նստեցի լիարժեք ինտերնետով, նույնիսկ լուսանկարեցի այն =) Դաունթաունն էլ ինձ դուր եկավ՝ երկնաքերերը կարծես 3D խմբագրիչում նկարված լինեն, կապտավուն, անիրական։ Տրամվայները հիանալի են, ապագայից, «քաշիր-հրիր» տիպի =) Միայն թե հյուսթոնցիները շատրվանների և ջրային այլ զվարճանքների հետ խնդիր ունեն, ռելսերի վրա ինչ-որ հիմարություն են սարքել, իսկ կենտրոնական այգում քլորի հոտ է գալիս և ամեն ինչ փրփուրի մեջ է։ Փոթորկի հետ ամեն ինչ կարգին է, համարում են, որ այն Հյուսթոնի/Նոր Օռլեանի շրջանում կլինի չորս օրից, իսկ ես 4 օրից հենց Ֆլորիդայում կլինեմ, որտեղից վտանգն այդ ժամանակ արդեն անցած կլինի։ Ամեն ինչ ինձ դուր է գալիս, 3 օրվա ավտոբուսի տոմս եմ վերցնում (12:20-ինը ամբողջությամբ վաճառված է) դեպի Նոր Օռլեան։ Զարմանալի է, որ դրանում ընդամենը 4 հոգի կա =) Ճանապարհորդելը սարսափելի հաճելի է, ես քնապարկով փռվել եմ չորս նստատեղի վրա.. =) Կա՜յֆ =D ճանապարհին պարբերաբար քնելով՝ նկատում եմ, որ ճահիճներ են սկսվել, նման է մեր սովորական խառը անտառներին, միայն թե այստեղ, ինչպես ասում են, կոկորդիլոսներ կան =) Այն անօթևանների գյուղում, որտեղ մենք կանգ առանք մայրամուտից առաջ, տեղի ոստիկանն ասաց, որ կամրջի տակ 14 ոտնաչափանոց ալիգատոր է ապրում =) Ես կամուրջը լուսանկարեցի, բայց ալիգատորը տուն է գալիս միայն գիշերը... PS Մեկնելուց առաջ ինձ վախեցնում էին, որ ավտոբուսներում անընդհատ հոգեպես հիվանդներ և հանցագործներ են երթևեկում։ Այսօր մի կանգառում նստեցին մի տղա, որը ողջ ճանապարհին ծիծաղում էր նստատեղի տակ, և մի պատանի՝ սպիտակ համազգեստով, դաստակներին և կոճերին փարոսիկներով։ Մի կանգառում մտան, հաջորդում իջան։ Առաջին անգամ էի տեսնում։ Եվ վերջին։
