Lincoln Center stands as the primary performing arts nexus in Manhattan, grouping opera, ballet, theater, and symphonic music onto a unified campus.

The complex occupies a dedicated campus in the Lincoln Square area of Manhattan's Upper West Side. It unites prominent American cultural institutions, serving as the permanent base for the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, and the New York City Ballet. The site also accommodates the Juilliard School, the Chamber Music Society, and the Vivian Beaumont Theater alongside public library archives.
