À propos du lieu

Wat Pan Sao is a Mahanikaya Buddhist temple in Suthep functioning as a public meditation center.

Wat Pan Sao traces its lineage to the Mangrai dynasty, established between the reigns of King Phayu and King Kue Na. Its historical title joins the northern vernacular for smelting furnaces with terms denoting count. Noble patron Muen Dang Nakhon supported the complex during King Tilokaraj's rule, following his casting of the Phra Chao Kao Tue image.
