All you need to do is take a vacation in the US, having fully paid for the program. I will explain the main points: after paying for the program and the interview, to increase your chances of not being rejected, you need to learn English. Participation in the program is available to every student who has reached 18 years of age. This program is a great opportunity for me; thanks to this progress, I can fulfill my dream. I have always dreamed of becoming a professional boxer. America is the homeland of professional boxers. There are strong boxers, and professional boxing athletes can be found in the USA. I am learning new things and improving my English by participating in this process, which has a huge impact on my future career. Because I can learn a new type of profession there. For me, it is a victory if I start my own business in Kazakhstan. Thanks to this program, I am achieving great success. First, I am studying and improving my English. I will go to the USA, which is a great opportunity for me coming from a village. I worked hard, and then I became. Or I can learn one type of profession and open my own. I think that a new environment and a new culture change me into a new person. If I were the head of the student exchange center, I would offer many discounts to students in the program and organize various games. The cities I want to visit in the USA are New York and Los Angeles. When I was a 3rd-year student, I tried to apply for the program, but I couldn't pass because my English was poor and I was insecure. So now I am a 4th-year student at the Academy of Sport and Tourism. Now, this year, I have returned to the program. I think everything will be different this year. Let me tell you about my favorite boxer, Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao trained at the Wild Card Boxing Club. The legendary trainer Freddie Roach prepared and brought up many champions. Just like last year. Naturally, I had to add a bonus for those who made it to the end. How could I not? This year is completely different. If last year I was discussing cinema, this time it's about culinary arts. Or rather, I want to prove to you that fast-food restaurants can also have gourmet cuisine :) Or at least something unusual. For example, the Breakfast Burrito, which was one of our restaurant's main highlights. Stewed onions, green and red peppers, bacon, and cheddar. All this in a Mexican tortilla. Another miracle was the traditional Italian omelet, Frittata, consisting of spinach, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese. Later, we started making food for ourselves out of whatever was available, but not on the menu. For example, here is a burrito analog - a Quesadilla. You can put anything in it. But our main ingredients were cheese and chicken. Also, there was incredible trout with a special butter prepared in advance with lemon zest and juice, parsley, as well as onion and garlic powders. During cooking, this butter was melted over the fish right before serving. Unfortunately, the photos show unfinished dishes. There should have been potatoes and lemons too. This is the breakfast we made for ourselves and other workers - a Breakfast Sandwich, which could also contain anything, but the main component, of course, was an egg. It had to be soft-cooked so that the yolk would definitely run when bitten. This is a major American thing. Breakfast is a very important thing here, so an egg can be fried, boiled, etc., in more than 10 ways. Once we prepared a special dish of the day: Steak wrapped in bacon. Everything was served as usual with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The vegetables this time were fried zucchini with red pepper. People here love that. After a while, we were brought a different kind of steak that was just begging to be put on French baguettes. So, we ended up with sandwiches like these, with fried onions and blue cheese. Then we returned to Mexican cuisine again, making a Taco Salad. Consisting of steak, vegetables, greens, and a deep-fried tortilla. When a fire happened at our hotel, we were brought a ton of salmon, so for about two weeks, we were racking our brains to come up with different dishes from it. Well, of course, trying to alternate with others. Sometimes it was salads, sometimes sandwiches, or just these fried main courses. Actually, it was really delicious. Again, from the same hotel, we were brought some mozzarella, and for ourselves, we prepared Bruschetta appetizers with basil, tomatoes, and mozzarella. All this on a toasted baguette. To be honest, I didn't participate in this recipe, so I remember it vaguely. I only know that it seems to be chicken in a spicy sauce with basil and tomatoes. And, of course, how can you do without real Italian pasta when you have an Italian chef working with you? And one time we even baked pork ribs in the oven. True, this was again for ourselves. Another experiment was non-traditional sushi. Yes, sacrilege to some extent, but also interesting. Also filled with rice, but wrapped in a tortilla, and the meat was steak in one version, and if I remember correctly, chicken in the other. And besides that, there were various types of vegetables and greens inside. It turned out pretty good. Of course, these are not all the delights of our kitchen. There were many more delicacies and interesting preparations that I forgot to photograph or just couldn't find right now. But many people think that working as a cook under the program means just being a handout receiver. Well, no. It is serious work and excellent experience. Over 2 seasons, I learned from scratch to be a decent cook, albeit a beginner. Thanks to all the chefs I had to work with during these seasons. They really gave me unique knowledge.

Here is, essentially, almost the entire crew of Eddie's Cafe and groceries for the 2014 season. Well, excluding a few people who have already managed to leave. These people became my family. We went through so much during this nearly one-third of a year. And I really don't want this program to end. I want to start all over again, from that very turning point when I arrived here and met the first part of my foreign family. Now it's hard to recall the first steps in the kitchen and the first acquaintances with those around me, but the funniest moments of this summer keep spinning endlessly in my head. There are many of them, and I have no doubt there will be more. And, of course, the summer was memorable not only for work, but for these freaks. Yes, exactly, freaks. There are about 30 of us here, absolutely different, completely unlike each other, and crazy in our own way. Yes, it's never boring here, especially in the kitchen: laughter, music, and fun almost all day long. And in truth, we didn't live here in harmony and love. We endlessly teased each other all day, non-stop, but that was the essence of all these well-coordinated relationships in our team. No, not a team, a family. Yes, exactly. An international family of freaks. What could be sweeter? To help you understand, 'freaks' is when one of the managers treated me so well that he offered for me to move to his native Illinois and arrange a fake marriage so I could get a green card and stay in the States. Even though he is absolutely traditionally oriented. We were just good friends. P.S. And the bear below is, in fact, Eddie himself, after whom, apparently, the restaurant was named. The rain was still falling… Soaked to the bone, I finally decided to buy an umbrella. So, the goals for today: Buy an adapter for an American outlet (they are different there, with 110V voltage); Find a place where I can use the internet and an outlet at the same time; Find coordinates online for places to buy a cheap phone with a cheap plan; Actually buy that phone; Open a bank account at a local bank; Find a Chinese bus and head to Orlando. First point. I tried to use logic. Adapters… Naturally, normal Americans don't produce them, so I have to buy from the Chinese. And where are the Chinese? Right, in Chinatown. And where is Chinatown? Okay, let's look at the map. Hmm, about 10 km. Not bad. Having somehow reached this town, I finally found an adapter in a “everything for 99 cents” store. And Chinatown really lives up to its name. Nothing but Chinese people around. And almost NO ONE speaks English. This is absurd... It was interesting to see a Chinese McDonald's. Read that again: “Chinese McDonald's”. Brrr… I didn't dare to go in, luckily I still had some raisins in my pocket brought from Russia. Second point. I didn't expect it to be so hard… After 2 hours of searching, I found an outlet and internet at Starbucks (the famous American coffee shop). Third point. Among the interesting things, I can mention meeting Eddie. He is a cheerful American, about 45 years old. His favorite habit is telling every girl he meets: “Hey, beautiful!” He told me a lot of interesting things about New York. Which places to visit, which people to avoid, and so on. But we never found the phone I needed. Fourth point. I saw the phone I needed quite by accident in a local kMart supermarket. Fifth point. Bank of America is considered the best bank in America, so that's where I headed to open my account. And again, the service here, like almost everywhere in America, is wonderful. Bank employees value every client. Though, upon learning that I had only been in the country for 2 days, they widened their eyes and laughed heartily. The whole process (paperwork, interview) took about 50 minutes. Sixth point. One thought in my head: just get to the bus… But my legs didn't care about my thoughts; they clearly didn't want to walk anymore. After long heart-to-heart talks with the victims, we agreed that I would walk very slowly and carefully. A deal is a deal. Damn, if the bus tickets had sold out, I would have definitely lost heart. But thank God, everything worked out. At 19:00, along with a bus full of Chinese people, I set off for my next destination: “Orlando”.

If stars are lit, it means someone needs it... And in America, they are lit every second. In the very first minutes of our stay in America, in New York, we were lucky enough to run into the lead singer of Gym Class Heroes at JFK. And then I immediately realized that I was in America, the land of freedom. A country where dreams and desires come true, where everything can become a reality!!! Because in reality, if you become famous in the USA, it means the whole world will know you. It's not for nothing that everyone—well, what am I saying, everyone, stars from all countries—dreams of getting to America, doing something to get noticed, something everyone would know about. To become famous... America gives them that opportunity. There is nothing impossible here. Impossible is nothing!!!! And if you have become such a person, I mean, if you already belong to words like celebrity or famous, then everything worked out. America has lit many stars. Almost all of them live in the USA, but some continue to live in two countries (for example, the UK and USA), some prefer to live in Italy and fly to Los Angeles for shoots and castings on a private jet. But most of the so-called stars live in Los Angeles and New York. So, each of us can meet our idol or just a celebrity we like absolutely anywhere. Almost all of them are ordinary people who don't hide behind the backs of huge bodyguards and don't ride in armored limousines. If you are in LA, then welcome to the world of show business! SHOW TIME! As you know, something very interesting always happens when meeting famous people. This case did not pass us by either. One day, our guys went for a ride on Sunset Blvd. In general, for those who know, it's not a poor place ;) So, our guys are driving along and one of them fell behind. Then Robbie opens the door and shouts: I'll come back and... f* U!!!! Ahahahaha))) wow!!! We laughed at this incident for a long time. This is where the law of meanness really manifests itself: you have a camera, but no photos )))) Subsequently, we met a lot of celebrities. The guys went to see the new Batman at an elite cinema. Elijah Wood was there with a friend. On Doheny Dr, we met Lindsay Lohan's sister (she is very popular in America). We saw Vin Diesel in a car and Eddie Murphy in a convertible. Victoria Beckham came to a private club to see our friends. They also met Antonio Banderas on 3rd Street Promenade. At LAX airport, a friend took a picture with Mike Tyson. We saw Matthew McConaughey in Malibu. In general, if you really want to, you can just take off and fly (as they say)!!! The guys from IEC wrote about this in their app three days ago. No problems with visas and passports – even if now it's just a chip in your finger. Fewer problems – more time to practice the language. I can't imagine how people learned foreign languages before – all those tips like "listen to songs and watch movies in the original" seem so dubious. Now everything is much simpler and far more interesting, thanks to learn-rooms. A room where you are one-on-one with a hologram of Freddie Mercury, and you can ask him any question. Or the Queen of England, or Angelina Jolie – anyone at all. You have to admit, it's quite motivating! True, they are hard to find; not many people want to bother with setting up such rooms.
