关于此地
Antoni Gaudí designed Casa Calvet as a combined textile headquarters and private residence in Eixample.
The structure stands on Carrer de Casp within the Eixample district of Barcelona. Antoni Gaudí designed the property for an established textile manufacturer, integrating commercial operations with private residential space under one roof. The lower floors accommodated industrial business activities, while the upper levels provided domestic housing for the owner family. Passersby still observe how this layout influenced the facade.

Residents settling into Eixample encounter a working urban quarter rather than a fenced monument zone. Because the building incorporates functional private space instead of operating as an open public pavilion, neighbors and workers maintain ordinary street routines outside. Long-term arrivals integrate into local networks across Barcelona while managing commitments on the standard Central European timetable.
