30-iyun kuni ertalab soat 10 larda uyg'onib, to'g'ri Port Authority tomon yo'l oldik. U yerda biror supermarket topib, pechenye va mineral suv sotib oldik, chunki ularning boshqa ovqatlari bizda unchalik ishonch uyg'otmadi) Jo'nash vaqtimiz soat 15:00 edi, shuning uchun vaqtimiz ko'p, lekin qiladigan ish yo'q, ustiga-ustak qo'limizda yuklar bilan. Yaxshiyamki, avtobusdagi bunday «iqlim sharoitlari» haqida oldindan eshitgan edim, shuning uchun ustimga ko'p kiyim kiyib oldim va Aselyani ham majburladim. Birinchi manzilimiz Baltimor edi... keyin Rs Midway, Pittsburg, Columbus, Dayton Trot, Indianapolis, Garlingston, Burlington, Des Moines, Blumington, Omaha, Cheyenne, Lexington, Brush, Casper, Lovell va biz o'tgan yana ko'plab shaharchalar. Avtobuslarda va bekatlarning o'zida juda ko'p g'alati odamlarni ko'rdik (ishoning, bizda bundayini ko'rmaysiz).
