3 օր ավտոբուսում... ինչպիսին էր դա...

Հունիսի 30-ի առավոտյան մենք արթնացանք մոտավորապես ժամը 10-ին և ուղղվեցինք ուղիղ դեպի Port Authority: Այնտեղ գտանք ինչ-որ սուպերմարկետ, գնեցինք ինչ-որ թխվածքաբլիթներ և հանքային ջուր, քանի որ նրանց մյուս ուտելիքները մեզ մոտ առանձնապես վստահություն չէին ներշնչում) Մեր մեկնումը ժամը 3-ին էր, այնպես որ ժամանակ շատ ունեինք, բայց անելու բան չկար, էլ չեմ ասում, որ ձեռքներիս ուղեբեռ կար։ Ինչպես օրենքն է, այնտեղ ոչ մի տեղ ոչ նստարան կար, ոչ էլ աթոռ... ճիշտն ասած, ամերիկացիները դրա մասին առանձնապես չեն անհանգստանում, նրանք կարող են նստել ցանկացած տեղ՝ աստիճաններին, խոտերին և նույնիսկ հատակին։ Հոգնելով՝ Ասեկան որոշեց նույնպես չանհանգստանալ և տեղավորվեց հատակին՝ վարդակի մոտ, որպեսզի լիցքավորի հեռախոսը։ Սկզբում ես մի քիչ կաշկանդվում էի, բայց հետո ինքս էլ նստեցի նրա կողքին... ի վերջո, պետք էր սովորել ամերիկյան կյանքին) Մոտավորապես 14:20-ին մենք ուղղվեցինք փնտրելու մեր gate-ը (դարպասը, որի հետևում կանգնած էր մեզ անհրաժեշտ ավտոբուսը)։ 14:40-ին սկսվեց ավտոբուս նստելը։ Ի՞նչ ասեմ, սովորական ավտոբուսներ էին... միայն թե կոնդիցիոներներից եկող ցուրտն անիրական էր։ Տարօրինակ են այս ամերիկացիները, նրանց համար ավելի լավ է ցուրտ լինի, քան շոգ։ Լավ է, որ ես մինչ այդ լսել էի ավտոբուսում նման «կլիմայական պայմանների» մասին, ուստի հագուստի մի կույտ հագա ինձ վրա և Ասելային էլ ստիպեցի։ Մեր առաջին նպատակակետը Baltimor-ն էր... հետո Rs Midway, Pittsburg, Columbus, Dayton Trot, Indianapolis, Garlingston, Burlington, Des Moines, Blumington, Omaha, Cheyenne, Lexington, Brush, Casper, Lovell և ևս մի քանի քաղաքներ, որոնցով մենք անցնում էինք։ Գրեթե այդ քաղաքներից յուրաքանչյուրում մենք ստիպված էինք լինում տեղափոխվել այլ ավտոբուսներ։ Իհարկե, 3 օր ավտոբուսում անցկացնելը հեշտ չէ, բայց ես առանց վարանելու կկրկնեի դա ևս մեկ անգամ։ Չէ՞ որ մինչ մենք գնում էինք, ես տեսա այնքան սիրուն քաղաքներ, շենքեր... սկզբունքորեն մենք անցանք կես Ամերիկայով։ Այդ 3 օրվա ընթացքում մենք սնվում էինք թխվածքաբլիթներով, քանի որ մեր օրգանիզմը պարզապես մերժում էր այդ արհեստական ամերիկյան ուտելիքը։ Ավտոբուսներում և հենց կայարաններում մենք տեսանք շատ տարօրինակ մարդկանց (հավատացեք, մեզ մոտ նման բան չես տեսնի)։ Ամենից շատ ինձ զվարճացնում էր, թե ինչպես են շատ տղաներ (մասնավորապես աֆրոամերիկացիները) նախընտրում տաբատները կրել այնպես, որ իրենց հետույքի կեսը դրսում է (բնականաբար լողավարտիքով)։ Նաև ճանապարհին մենք ծանոթացանք երկու սիրուն ամերիկացիների հետ՝ մոտ 35 տարեկան, որոնցից մեկն ինձ խմիչք էր առաջարկում (երևի որպեսզի ավելի լավ քնեմ)) Իսկ արդեն Վայոմինգ մոտենալիս մենք ծանոթացանք մի հմայիչ իսպանացու հետ, ով ինձ սովորեցրեց մի քանի արտահայտություն իր լեզվով... Իմ մեծ հիասթափությանը՝ նա ուղևորվում էր Մոնտանա (նահանգ, որը գտնվում է Վայոմինգից մի փոքր հեռու)։ Մեր վերջին կանգառը մինչ Cody-ն Lovell քաղաքն էր։ Այնտեղ արդեն մեզ վերցրեց փոքրիկ ավտոբուսը... այն փաստը, որ ուղևորներից միայն ես և Ասեկան էինք, ճիշտն ասած, ինձ մի քիչ անհանգստացնում էր... իմ գլխում պտտվում էր միայն մեկ միտք. «Աստված իմ, ի՞նչ փոս եմ ես մեզ տանում։ Ասելան ինձ կսպանի»։
