Dolby Theatre anchors the entertainment core of Hollywood Boulevard.

The venue sits inside the Ovation Hollywood shopping and entertainment complex at Highland Avenue. Planners designed the space alongside the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to replace older hosting sites. It stands directly next to the TCL Chinese Theatre and across the street from the historic El Capitan Theatre.
