Postmodern corporate architecture anchors the Loop at this site, where a major bus depot once handled regional transit.

The architectural practice Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates planned the office tower to replace the central Greyhound Bus Station in the Loop. Prior to the end of construction, the project earned the Best Building Architecture Award from The Chicago Athenaeum, presented to lead designer Kevin Flanagan. Commuters access the workplace directly from downtown pedestrian corridors, which connect commercial tenants to core city transit lines.

Corporate relocation altered downtown naming conventions when Chicago Title and Trust departed its historic premises on West Washington.
