Estádio do Pacaembu anchors municipal football history in São Paulo while operating as a modernized multi-use arena.

Estádio do Pacaembu operates in the Pacaembu neighbourhood under the ownership of the Municipal Prefecture of São Paulo. Known under sponsorship naming as Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, the ground historically served as the primary match venue for Corinthians before their modern arena opened, as well as an interim home for Palmeiras.
