À propos du lieu

Al Nasr plays its home fixtures at this ground in Oud Metha.

The ground arose in Oud Metha to provide Al Nasr SC with a dedicated home venue during a period of national football expansion. Club officials inaugurated the pitch with an exhibition fixture against Liverpool FC, in which the visiting English squad secured a shutout victory. Early architectural plans incorporated low spectator stands and an encircling running track around the playing surface.

Football fixtures dominate current operations, with both Al Nasr SC and United FC utilizing the venue as their shared home turf. Staging fixtures for multiple teams creates steady match traffic across the sporting season. Long-term residents in Oud Metha plan local transit around these evening games, which regularly overwhelm neighbourhood parking and funnel spectator crowds through adjacent streets.
