Inside the seating bowl, spectator chairs on the east and west stands feature white, light blue, and dark blue patterns arranged unpredictably across rows to disguise empty areas during low-turnout matches. Inaugural play brought Sporting Clube de Portugal to the pitch for an opening exhibition before domestic league fixtures commenced.
