Məkan haqqında

Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium anchors domestic rugby union from the Aoyama district of Tokyo. The complex houses the administrative headquarters for the national union alongside championship match facilities.

Originally opened as Tokyo Rugby Stadium, the venue took the name of Prince Chichibu following the royal patron's death to honour his commitment to the game. A dedicated statue of the prince in rugby uniform stands within the grounds. The complex functions as the headquarters for the Japan Rugby Football Union, staging major domestic league fixtures, international test matches, and Olympic tournament football.

A redevelopment project led by the Japan Sports Council, Mitsui Fudosan, and Itochu Corporation alters the surrounding Gaien district. The plans schedule the demolition of the rugby arena so that neighbouring Meiji Jingu Stadium can be rebuilt on this footprint.
