During a visit to Jerusalem, Borowski met Batya Weiss, who urged him to relocate the antiquities and introduced him to Mayor Teddy Kollek. Municipal authorities provided the building plot, and Borowski later married Weiss after completing the relocation of his antiquities to the city.
