As visitors descend into the grid, the stone blocks rise overhead and block sightlines to Berlin.

Beneath the field of stone pillars sits an underground exhibition space named the Place of Information. This subterranean hall preserves personal records and individual biographies compiled from material provided by Yad Vashem. Above ground, the site functions without perimeter fences, integrating into surrounding city pathways.
