Phew, finally heading home... After the ferry, we took the wrong bus and arrived at our place in Wildwood much later than expected... It turned out our friends had moved from their spot because they misunderstood the landlord... It's sad, but what can you do, it's already done... The next morning, we said goodbye to our friends, and while finishing off some delicious bagels, we stood in line for the bus on the 'Wildwood - Atlantic City' route — a world of shopping and casinos... We were more interested in the shopping, so my girlfriend will tell you the rest. We were met at the stop by a friend of my boyfriend, sporting Ray Ban sunglasses—a cheerful guy who organized a mini-tour of this fun town... So, after having one of the most epic shopping sprees and feeling completely satisfied with our time, we headed to Philadelphia with one shared suitcase. The home of Rocky Balboa. Arriving in Philly feels like entering another world—one that doesn't seem to be in a rush, yet the scenery changes before your eyes one after another... Here you'll have to work hard to find free parking, here charming African-American locals showcase Art with a capital A, and here you can take photos at every step, with each new shot looking completely different from the last. There are huge fountains here; secluded spots where all sorts of different people go about their business—it's a place where you constantly want to spend time outdoors among people... Our flight was at 3:00 am, so we decided to walk around Philly. Near the bus station is Chinatown, where they serve one of the best cuisines in the world—Chinese... And don't even think it's not tasty—it's delicious :), and the cute waiters will make a bunch of attempts to explain to you 'from what is this meal' :). Next, we walked to the square with 4-meter dominoes, took photos near some very beautiful buildings—it looked like a church or a city hall—then our attention was caught by an Italian-style fountain, a huge breeding ground for romantic vibes <3. Right after that, we had a view of the Art Museum—a giant structure, executed down to the smallest detail. We were incredibly lucky because there was some kind of Greek festival happening that day. And these very cheerful and good-natured people were dancing and singing, and it was truly beautiful. Seeing that the festival was ending, we wanted to walk through the park adjacent to the museum and felt like we had entered a Pantheon of gods; there was a sea of statues there. Suddenly, turning back, we saw a cute gazebo on top of a hill—I won't tell you how my 'janym' (darling) dragged our suitcase up there—and how I cheered him on—but it was quite a sight :)))) in short, we were sincerely glad that he convinced me to take only 1 suitcase). In the end, we slightly overslept... We woke up around 3 o'clock and were blown away from our spot like the wind))) we quickly rushed to the road to catch a taxi... Since we booked our tickets electronically, we had some difficulties with that, which we eventually overcame).
