Sobre o local

Tour de la Bourse stands as an International style concrete skyscraper in the financial district.

Conceived during the world exposition construction boom, the tower project was reduced from a larger multi-tower complex because of budget constraints. The finished structure features bronze-tinted aluminium curtain walls and subtly slanted pre-cast concrete corner columns. Recessed mechanical levels break the exterior profile into distinct vertical blocks, where nesting peregrine falcons occupy the open corners.

Below the lobby, pedestrian corridors connect the tower directly to the underground city and Square-Victoria-OACI Metro Station. This subterranean passage allows workers to move across Quartier International while remaining sheltered from severe winter weather.
