A catamaran-shaped arena brings continental basketball and arena tours to Klaipėda.

The catamaran-shaped indoor arena anchors sports and live performance in Klaipėda. Commercial naming rights belong to the local brewing enterprise Švyturys, which secured the brand placement. The venue regularly alters its floor configuration for basketball games, ice hockey matches, boxing and wrestling cards, and seated music concerts. The dual-hull exterior profile directly evokes the maritime heritage of the Baltic port.

International tournaments periodically command the venue. The hall hosted group fixtures for the FIBA European Basketball Championship and tournament matches for the FIFA Futsal World Cup, with selections secured for the FIBA Women's EuroBasket. For long-term residents, major competitions bring strict security cordons, elevated transit congestion along arterial corridors, and sudden influxes of traveling continental supporters.
