The week before the concert was super slow. I was sick, and with the heat hitting nearly 40°C, I even had heatstroke (I felt awful). But I kept telling everyone that even though it was a quiet week, I’d make up for it. On Saturday I had the concert. On Friday after work, I packed up and headed to Washington to catch a bus to Charlottesville (at 2 AM). I arrived at 7 AM—the city is so cute and nice. The most famous thing about it is Thomas Jefferson’s house and his university. Also, my sweatshirt at home has orange letters and the symbol of that university (my friends gave me this sweatshirt last year—I guess it was fate that I’d end up in this city, I didn't even know what that university was). I wandered around the city all day, and then the concert!!! It was so cool!! I was belting out the songs as hard as I could!! Turns out I’m a real fan, since I know so many songs that some people haven't even heard of))... After the concert, I wanted to snag a photo with Wiz Khalifa, but he left early because someone tried to shoot at him before the show, so for security reasons... but I kept waiting for something while everyone else left. I walked up and asked: 'Can I take a photo with Chevy?' (he works with Wiz). The local girls had already left because they were only interested in Wiz. I told them I was from Russia and had come specifically for the day just for their concert... and they let me in. Chevy said he could only hug me at first, and I was like: 'What about a photo?' Before that, I told him the whole story of how much I love listening to them and how I traveled to get there... I said it was a shame I didn't have a photo with Wiz, etc... but Chevy took a photo with me and then said, 'Wait.' He opened the tour bus, on the side where the luggage goes, and pulled out a sweater with their logo for me!!! I was stunned!! So nice!!! No one else had a photo or a sweater... they only threw a couple of t-shirts into the crowd during the concert. Anyway, I was so happy!!! In that city, the bus station I usually use is really stupid; it’s closed at night. I had a 4 AM ticket, but I spent the whole night at the stop (outside), and the bus never came. Later it turned out that the route didn't exist, even though they sell tickets on the website. A bus came at 8, but I decided to take a direct bus at 9 AM instead. I was so afraid of being late for work, but by 2 PM I was already in Fairfax. My supervisor picked me up, and we went to my job. After working from 4 to 8, I returned home, relaxed, and then after a shower at 9:20, I was told we were expected outside to go to the beach. After a 10-minute rush to pack, we were on our way to Ocean City. We got there at 4 AM, went swimming, watched the sunrise, and swam all day. Even though I got a bit sunburned, it was only a little. We headed home at 7 PM (we ate at buffets in the morning and evening) and got home at 11 PM. I slept for 10 hours, but I still felt tired.
