Այստեղ ռուսների հսկայական քանակություն կա՝ նրանց իսկապես հեշտ է տարբերել արտաքինից։ Ուսանողներ են, ոմանք տուն են գնում, ոմանք էլ դեռ ճանապարհորդում են։ Այսօրվա համար մեծ պլաններ ունեմ, պետք է գնամ... Այսպես։ Վաշինգտոն։ Քարտեզով կայարանից մինչև կենտրոն մի քիչ հեռու է, իրականում՝ մոտ։ Այն, ինչ գրված է ուղեցույցում «կասկածելի թաղամասերի» մասին կայարանի մոտ՝ հիմարություն է, բավականին պատշաճ է և սարսափելի չէ, ի տարբերություն, օրինակ, Լոս Անջելեսի։ Հասա Կապիտոլիում, ճանապարհին նայեցի Union Station-ը (հսկայական երկաթուղային կայարան անտիկ ոճով)՝ զվարճալի է՝ հին մարտիկների արձաններ, իսկ նրանց տակ՝ ամերիկյան դրոշ =) Կայարանի դիմաց անօթևաններ են գիշերում։ Կես ժամ ես սարսափելի դեմքեր էի անում ֆոտոխցիկի առաջ՝ Կապիտոլիումի պահակախմբի դիմաց =) Ի դեպ, այստեղ ոստիկանների սարսափելի քանակություն կա։ Եվ սկյուռիկների սարսափելի քանակություն։ Կապիտոլիումից ես աշխույժ քայլերով գնացի (կարծում էի) դեպի Սպիտակ տուն, գնում եմ-գնում, սկսվեցին բնակելի թաղամասերը, երկու-երեք հարկանի մասնավոր տներ (հիշեցրին հարազատ West Chester-ը)։ Քարտեզով այստեղ պետք է լինեին Ջորջ Վաշինգտոնի հուշարձանները և մի խումբ զբոսաշրջիկներ, իսկ ինձ մոտ ինչ-որ կիսաուսանող-կիսաանօթևաններ են նստած շրջանով գրադարանի դիմացի մարգագետնում, կարծես թե ամսագիր են քննարկում, և ուրիշ ոչ ոք այստեղ չկա... Ի՞նչ է կատարվում։ Հարցնում եմ անցորդին։ Պարզվեց, որ Վաշինգտոնում ինչ-որ իմաստուն մտածել է Կապիտոլիումի նկատմամբ սիմետրիկ փողոցները նույն կերպ անվանել... Դրանք կարծես հայելային են, և ես քարտեզով գնացել էի բոլորովին այլ ուղղությամբ =) Մեկ ժամ ծախսեցի ճիշտ տեղ հասնելու համար։ Բոլոր հուշարձանները, մեմորիալները, թանգարանները և այլն հիմնականում կենտրոնացած են հսկայական կանաչ-տրորված դաշտի շուրջ (և անմիջապես դրա վրա)։ Դաշտի մեջտեղում կա կես մետր խորությամբ հսկայական ուղղանկյուն լճակ, որն ինձ ծանոթ է «Ֆորեսթ Գամփ» ֆիլմից, երբ նա հակապատերազմական հանրահավաքի ժամանակ Ջենիի մոտ էր վազում այդ լճակով =) լճակի շուրջ հատուկ մարդիկ են քայլում և աղբը հավաքում։ (Ի դեպ, Ֆորեսթի մասին, բոլոր մեծ ափամերձ քաղաքներում ես հանդիպել եմ Bubba Gump ռեստորաններ) Կենտրոն գնալու ճանապարհին չինացի վաճառողուհին իմ գնած խնձորներին հավելում՝ անվճար բանաններ տվեց։ Կեսը ստիպված եղա դեն նետել՝ կշտացել էի =) Մտա հնդկացիների թանգարան, հայտնի Սմիթսոնյան թանգարաններից մեկը։ Այսպես։ Հիմա ինձ հետ փորձում էր շփվել հարբած թուրք, ես չէի կարողանում կենտրոնանալ։ Թուրքը հեռացվեց, և ես շարունակում եմ =) Կարճ ասած՝ թանգարանը սարսափելի է, ցուցանմուշները քիչ են + անիմաստ են դասավորված + կեսը ընդհանրապես հնդկացիների հետ կապ չունի։ Փոխարենը ամեն տեսակ հավելումներ, լուսավորություններ, «ճարտարապետություն» և երաժշտություններ՝ դրանք շատ են, ամենուր, որտեղ պետք է և որտեղ պետք չէ, խցկված են։ Այնտեղ գիրք գնեցի լուսանկարներով և, ինչպես նշված է բովանդակության մեջ, հնդկացի առաջնորդների մեջբերումներով, $15 վճարեցի... Հետո գնացի փնտրելու Չարիքի օթևանը։ ԱՄՆ Դաշնային պահուստի շենքը գտնելը հեշտ է, ամեն ինչ մոտ է։ Սկզբում պլան կար քար նետել դրա վրա։ Բայց տեղ հասնելով՝ որոշեցի, որ M-16-ով պահակները (չգիտեմ, թե ինչ հրացաններ են դրանք հիմա, բայց անցյալում ես խաղացել եմ Delta Force, և այնտեղ դա այդպես էր կոչվում=) այսպես, այդ պահակները կարող են մտածել, որ ես նռնակ եմ նետել։ Ես չարեցի։ Շենքը իսկապես ամրոցի պես է՝ լիքը ոստիկաններ, ցանկապատեր, խցիկներ և տեսախցիկներ։ Ես հարցրեցի. «Ինչո՞ւ եք այստեղ այսքան շատ» համազգեստով կնոջը։ «Security is improved since 9/11» և ժպտում է, սրիկան =)) Ես ազնվորեն նրանից թույլտվություն խնդրեցի գոնե թքել չարիքի օթևանի վրա։ Չի կարելի։ Նաև բարձրացա Վաշինգտոնի հուշարձան (200 մետր, անվճար, պետք էր միայն մուտքի տոմսը նախապես վերցնել հատուկ խցիկում։ Այնտեղ գրում են անցման ամսաթիվը, ինձ հասավ 3 օր հետոյինը)։ Վերևից նկարեցի։ Սկյուռիկներին կերակրեցի խնձորով, առաջին անգամ էի տեսնում այդքան շատ միաժամանակ, կա լուսանկար, որտեղ 5 հատ են =) Բադերն էլ սկսեցին խնձոր ուտել։ Ինչ-որ տեղ այնտեղ ես կորցրեցի իմ ուղեցույցը՝ Rough Guide to USA, ինձ արժեցել էր $30, բայց գլխավորն այն է, որ ես ամբողջ Ամերիկան դրա հետ թևիս տակ շրջել էի =(( Շատ տխրեցի և օրվա մնացած մասը փորձում էի գտնել այն, շրջեցի բոլոր այն վայրերը, որտեղ եղել էի, ստիպեցի պահակին
