Grünwalder Stadion stands as a traditional football ground hosting Munich senior and youth squads.

The ground on Grünwalder Straße was constructed in the opening decades of the previous century and anchored Munich football for generations. While modern arena developments pulled away primary top-tier fixtures, the venue kept its role as the shared base for reserve rosters and developing junior academy squads.

The stadium regained central prominence when the senior squad of the Munich blues returned following league relegation, restoring professional matchdays to the neighbourhood. Bayern women's teams also staged their league home fixtures on this turf for several campaigns. Local residents regularly navigate dense street crowds and altered traffic patterns around kickoff hours.
