You should learn English in the UK! Not just the pronunciation, but also the vocabulary that is hard to master without visiting the country:) English classes at Edgware Academy are notable because students at this London school are guaranteed a quality education at a very affordable price. Edgware Academy study centers are located in the heart of the city. My classes were in the Covent Garden area—just a few steps away from major attractions like Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, the famous Covent Garden market building, and the British Museum, plus numerous shops and cozy cafes nearby. I was doubly lucky because where I lived was near the British Museum and only a 20-minute walk to school—a nice morning stroll)) As for the classes themselves! On the first day, you take a short test, and based on the results, you are placed in a group where you will improve your English, have fun, and get a lot of positive emotions. The main focus is on communication. We worked in pairs, in small groups, and then discussed things together. Everything was very interesting, fun, and lively—in a word, great! A huge thank you to our Oliver... not the older one, but there was also a young, energetic guy)) Oh, and of course, a big thank you to the other one as well for organizing these classes.

Residents in Bloomsbury treat the galleries as a regular reading retreat, trading crowded weekend halls for quiet weekday mornings among ancient manuscripts.
A universal museum open to the public without royal or ecclesiastical ownership.
Parliament established the site from the curiosity cabinet of physician Hans Sloane, who assembled natural specimens, antiquities, and drawings by Albrecht Dürer. The founding statute combined his miscellany with the Cottonian and Harleian libraries. This created a public civic institution dedicated to universal knowledge rather than royal or religious authority.

Trustees chose Montagu House in Bloomsbury after rejecting Buckingham House because of excessive cost and an inconvenient location. The early galleries prioritized botanical specimens and archival reading spaces over display sculpture. Scholar Daniel Solander reclassified the scientific holdings under the Linnaean system, turning the galleries into an active workplace for naturalists across Europe.
Acquisitions quickly overwhelmed the residential mansion as Parliament granted legal deposit rights, mandating a copy of every domestic publication for the museum. Historic donations brought the King's Library, Civil War political tracts, and theatrical folios into the collection. Long-term residents discover that the institution operates less as an exhibition hall and more as an exhaustive repository of recorded human culture.
