À propos du lieu
À propos du lieu

Ōsaki Station operates as a major railway junction in Shinagawa, connecting regional commuters and local ring lines across central Tokyo.

East Japan Railway Company and Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit jointly run the station complex in Shinagawa. Passengers change between the Yamanote Line, the Saikyō Line, the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line, and the Rinkai Line within shared ticket barriers. West-side platforms handle rapid through-services heading south and toward waterfront districts, creating a functional interchange between regional networks and city loops.

The junction began operations under Nippon Railway before public nationalization incorporated the corridor into the national network. Decades of exclusive Yamanote Line service eventually gave way to massive infrastructural expansion, turning a modest stop into a major junction. Railway authorities designated the site with the specific station code OSK to simplify dispatching, route tracking, and transfer directions.
