Impressions and experience, dreams will come true! Just believe!)

And now, a few wishes from the guys who have already been to America this year!) So. 1. What does America mean to you? 2. How did you feel freedom in America? 3. What would you advise those who want their dreams to come true? Valentin Zavadsky 1. For me, America now somehow means freedom and independence; for the first time in your life, you are perhaps breaking away from all your acquaintances and holding your life only in your own hands. Some people, of course, start drinking, smoking weed, and slacking off non-stop, but those are foolish people; mostly, the guys didn't do that. 2. Having lived on the ocean shore for 3 months with my beloved girlfriend, with the ability to pay for a room, buy food, and whatever else my soul desires with the money earned in a week! 3. I advise you, guys, never give up and know that in this world, dreams are real; sometimes you just need to go after them. Kate Porubova 1. America is a country of positive people. 2. If I may say so, everything you want depends only on you. 3. Don't whine, just move towards your goal. Olka Tuluz 1. For me, America is my first adult experience, a place that showed me how capable I am of independent living; America is a very important and big step in my life. 2. I felt it when I realized that here you can be yourself, dress how you want, behave how you want, no one will say anything to you or reproach you. Free in everything, in thoughts, in movements, and in actions... 3. Go towards your dream, be ready for obstacles, but never turn off the path for anything and never!!! Olga Syrovatka 1. America... In spring this country was so far away, so unattainable... But it turned out that it is not only the country. It's something more. The way to perceive reality, the way of thinking, the way of acting and finally the way of life. 2. How did I feel freedom? I'll give a rather unexpected answer: I could smile there, just smile with no vivid reason for it. And it was ok there! And nobody thought I was an idiot, but even if, I didn't care! Once an American said to me: "you can think whatever you want, it's America" 3. Every dream comes true. And "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" - as Eleanor Roosevelt said, what concerning some advice: 1) hope for the best, be prepared for the worst 2) ACT!!!! Marina Safonova 1. America means a lot to me, it's a country where I feel good, a sea of positivity, smiling people... where you don't want to leave from)) 2. In America, life seems more carefree; when you arrive there, you are freed from some of your problems, studies, parents, it's a completely different life, you are far away, across the ocean... perhaps you take this for freedom at first... 3. Well, if your dreams are connected with America, then you definitely need to visit it! Because it's a very unforgettable place... You need to go towards your dreams, achieve goals, no matter what, put in maximum effort, because only then do we succeed in life, in what we strive for, in the realization of all our dreams!)) Katya Gapanovich 1. For me, America is great opportunities, independence, uniqueness. 2. You don't depend on anyone, everyone is very different, unique, no one limits you in anything, and if you are 21 - then it's just f*ing awesome!) 3. Always go towards your goal, no matter what, never give up and don't give up, and believe only in the best!)) Veronichka Igosheva 1. For me, America is a country of contrasts, the impressions are completely chaotic: happiness, pride, adrenaline, experience, failures, realizing yourself as nobody, problems)) 2. I do what I want, I go where I want, I drink and eat what I want)) I dress as my soul desires.. 3. If your dreams are connected with America, then go for it, but be prepared for a bunch of problems and troubles, it's not all as sweet as it seems! And if we are talking about dreams in general - then nothing is impossible!!!))) I dreamed of America and it came true - now I am more confident in mys

THE PATH IS SO LONG, or GO TO MOSCOW-CITY!)

So, here it is! The turning point in the whole story, which hasn't even really started yet! I feel like my blog is going to be the longest one ever! Because I don't want to miss even the smallest details!) I swiped some photos from Olya Tuluzova) First, I'll tell you about the road there. Evening before departure. April 7th. All the parents, or rather both of them, mom and dad, are nervous! But they are nervous in different ways. Dad spends the whole evening with a face that clearly says, "Please, kind consular gentlemen, don't give my daughter a visa, I won't survive this!" And mom is running around the apartment like a maniac, trying to pack as much food for me as possible) How can it be, my daughter will be hungry for 2 days! Oh my, oh my. And I was SOOOO amused! First of all, I started imagining what would happen to them when I fly to AMERICA for 3 MONTHS!))))))) And secondly, mom's reaction amused me: mom: Maybe I should pack you some more sandwiches? me: maybe I should take a blanket with me on the bus too? mom: AAA!!! WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A BLANKET!!! AAA!!!!! ahahahaha))))) she's funny, I swear! And I didn't even read the questions because I couldn't force myself to) I'm lazy, very lazy! But I watched the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in English, and quietly went to sleep!))))) Morning. April 8th. I got ready, double-checked my documents about 20 times, packed a couple of sandwiches instead of a whole bag of food (if mom saw, she would have killed me), bought a bottle of mineral water, and went to the "Vostok" metro station near the National Library. At 14:45 we agreed with the guys we met beforehand to meet up and grab seats on the bus!) Day. April 8th. There were a lot of buses. About 6-7. Big ones!! In front of the buses, we saw a large number of students) Many had blankets and pillows with them) And I was traveling light. First, I had to go to the organizer, say my last name, and she gave out stickers with numbers! I got number 1-214.) While I was standing in line, Valentin, or Valik, saved 9 seats for all of us on the second bus) And I am grateful to him because it was WARM in that bus, even though guys from other buses complained about the cold and said they had to wrap their legs in jackets!) Oh, yes... We gave our passports to the girl-organizer!) When we crossed the Russian border, we were amazed by the FREE TOILET! At least I was! Okay, what's the big deal, so it's free, but there was a grandma sitting there who gave out toilet paper, there were many stalls, and even soap!))))))))))))) It's a pity it was the only free one) We stopped every 2 hours, so no one really felt any discomfort!) The series they put on in the bus, I don't think it interested anyone at all, especially me) I wasn't in the mood for movies))))) I looked through the questions, put them back in my bag, and around 12 midnight I dozed off) Just like everyone else, by the way) There was no fuss, no nerves))) Around 4 AM I woke up. We were already in MOSCOW! First impression: "Come on, Liza, it doesn't really look that different from Minsk." And just as I said that, we drove into the center of Moscow, and I immediately said - "I take my words back!" )))))))) We drove up to the embassy, and most of the students ran off to wander around night-time Moscow) Even though we didn't have our passports, or even our tickets! Unknown wandering objects, so to speak)))) Liza and I also went for a walk to stretch our legs!) even though it was 4 AM, Moscow was already waking up) Pie stalls were already getting ready for work, a "hellish" street sweeper truck was driving around, which we almost got hit by!)))))) Just as we walked back to the embassy, I saw the buses leaving! Liza started waving at the driver, he opened the doors and let us in))) Those who returned later were in shock: the bus had disappeared!) In reality, we just moved behind the embassy building) Then we went and found a night cafe, where we asked to use the restroom (yeah, I'm being too specif
