Über den Ort

Charilaou Stadium anchors the eastern residential blocks of the city as the historic home ground for Aris FC.

Constructed in the Charilaou district, the arena originally carried the name of Aris FC before being dedicated to former player Kleanthis Vikelidis. The venue serves as the central athletics base for the club, surrounded tightly by dense neighborhood apartment buildings and commercial storefronts that fill with supporters on matchdays.

Modernization projects expanded the complex with covered stands, a dedicated grass pitch, and a separate home grandstand. Upgrades prepared the facility to host Olympic football training sessions. The grounds house athlete dressing rooms, training gyms, a swimming pool, press suites, and a pitchside dining room for visitors.
