关于此地
The launcher preserves the mechanical simplicity of mass-produced rocket artillery.
The Katyusha system represents Soviet self-propelled artillery built through mass production. Instead of heavy rifled barrels, the weapon relied on unguided rails mounted directly on standard automotive frames. This construction eliminated complex machining, making units cheap and rapid to assemble across factories while accepting almost any truck chassis available to wartime logistics.

Operational trade-offs defined the weapon in active service. Truck mounts gave crews the mobility to deliver saturation strikes all at once and relocate before enemy counter-battery fire targeted the launch position. The system sacrificed ballistic precision and structural durability for shock volume, demanding protracted reload intervals while remaining far more fragile than conventional field guns.

事实信息
- Multiple rocket launchers concentrate explosives onto target coordinates with lower precision than conventional artillery.
- Wartime units relied on standard truck chassis rather than specialized tracked artillery carriages.
- The system achieves mobility to relocate before enemy forces can return counter-battery fire.
- The artillery design requires longer reloading intervals compared to standard field guns.
