Eje Central: 周边有什么、如何前往、何时最合适 · 2026年
Residents trade continuous traffic noise and exhaust fumes for rapid electric trolleybuses and underground rail lines that link northern and southern terminals directly through downtown.
关于此地
Carlos Hank González reshaped metropolitan transit by cutting this multilane thoroughfare across central neighborhoods.
The avenue forms the backbone of the eje vial roadway network, conceived under Carlos Hank González to relieve metropolitan gridlock. Stretching from Río de los Remedios Avenue down to Río Churubusco Avenue, the corridor crosses the Cuauhtémoc and Gustavo A. Madero boroughs. Long-term tenants face heavy surface traffic, yet the broad layout provides continuous north-south movement across the central city.

Public transit defines daily routines along the pavement. The electric trolleybus corridor runs above ground between the northern bus terminal and the southern coach station near Tasqueña. Below street level, subway lines run directly beneath the roadway downtown, stopping at interchanges including Bellas Artes, Garibaldi, and Salto del Agua to keep cross-town commutes fast without requiring private cars.
