Residents living around the ground trade quiet weekend afternoons for roaring stands and congested streets whenever KF Skënderbeu plays at home.
关于此地
Skënderbeu Stadium anchors sports life in Korçë, staging domestic football fixtures and municipal athletic competitions on its central grounds.
The arena functions as the home ground for KF Skënderbeu Korçë while supporting national and municipal athletic events on its track. Corporate donors funded an extensive overhaul of the complex, modernising the facilities enough to secure UEFA approval for preliminary Champions League fixtures. Matchdays bring regional football supporters directly into the neighbourhood, filling surrounding avenues with dense foot traffic.

Individual plastic seating replaced earlier bench terraces, which substantially reduced total spectator capacity across all stands. Danish architecture practice CEBRA won the international contract to execute another comprehensive redevelopment of the sports arena and its perimeter. Long-term residents in adjacent blocks face periodic construction noise and street closures as this major urban renovation reshapes the district.
