О месте

Skåne University Hospital operates across dual campuses in Malmö and Lund, combining regional treatment with academic research.

The institution was created by uniting the university medical centers of Malmö and Lund into a single healthcare administration for the Scania region. Clinical departments manage acute metropolitan patient care, while academic divisions conduct medical training and scientific research. Daily ward operations run in Swedish, meaning international clinicians must prepare for local documentation standards despite English usage in research.

Long-term medical staff face a split work routine distributed across separate city centers. Clinical personnel commuting between Malmö wards and Lund laboratories coordinate regional train connections rather than walking across a single hospital ground. Incoming specialists must verify medical licenses and formal employment documentation through national authorities before starting clinical assignments.
