Victor Horta designed his private residence and studio as a complete showcase of Art Nouveau craftsmanship.

The museum occupies the private townhouse and adjoining workshop created by Victor Horta to present his pioneering architectural philosophy. Every interior element reflects the Art Nouveau movement, integrating structural ironwork, curved woodwork, and natural light into a unified domestic space. Curators maintain the rooms as working records of the architect's career, illustrating how his decorative principles reshaped Belgian urban architecture.
