Tishreen Palace stands on the lower slopes beneath Mount Qasioun, marking a prominent modern seat of executive authority.

The complex stands on a hillside site within the Ar Rabwah district, situated directly south of Mount Qasioun. Built as an executive residence and headquarters for the presidency, the site functioned as the primary official home for the head of state before central government functions moved to the Mount Mazzeh palace.
