Casa de Murillo preserves the final home of painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo in the historic Barrio de Santa Cruz.

The historic residence on calle Santa Teresa housed painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo during the final chapter of his career. Standing within the pedestrian quarter of Barrio de Santa Cruz, the building retains its traditional Sevillian domestic layout. Rooms wrap around a central patio framed by classic stone columns. This interior courtyard design buffered private quarters from severe Andalusian summer heat and street noise.
