Jogeshwari Caves contain some of the earliest major Hindu rock-cut temples in India.

The site features monumental rock-cut shrines dedicated to the deity Jogeshwari within suburban Mumbai. Excavated during the era of Ajanta and Elephanta across Maharashtra, the complex preserves early Hindu temple sculpture. Historian Walter Spink classified the monument as both the earliest major cave temple and the largest.
