Hello everyone!

Sorry for the long absence! A lot has changed in these two months! Let's go in order... Right after New Year's, I quit my previous job and problems started... My card was blocked and I couldn't buy tickets for my visa... I was very worried and was already planning to go home... but Cape Town doesn't let go just like that.... I managed ;) Almost at the end of January, I found a new job... now I work as a bar lady in a German cafe... My English has finally started to improve!!! One weekend, the girls and I decided to climb Table Mountain... but we don't look for easy ways... Masha and I decided to walk from Long Street to Table Mountain... and of course, we got lost... we climbed into some park... scratched our legs while getting through those bushes... but our adventures didn't end there... having reached the mountain, we decided to take a shortcut again... everything started easily until we had to scramble over rocks... but we handled that unpleasantness too... on the way, we met some guys from Poland, and when we were already at the top, one thought his friends were nearby and announced: "Zayebata vida!" (F*cking great view!) You should have seen our faces... and I won't even mention his face when we all started laughing at him... But I can say that the view is truly gorgeous... the top of Table Mountain is probably my favorite place in Cape Town... I've been there twice already, but I want to do it again... It really is very beautiful... despite the 2.5-hour climb in the heat... Also in January, I climbed Lion's Head to watch the sunset... You sit at the top and see the sun dip into the ocean, and it even seemed to me that at that moment the horizon was actually curving... then the city gradually lights up... you sit at the top, it's already dark, and below you are the lights... Cape Town... Now I can't believe that Russia is somewhere beneath me!!! And it's winter there... Also, a week ago, I finally went to the University of Cape Town... It's a whole city... Arriving there, you start wanting to study there... It's located on a hill, and when it started to get dark, you could see the fiery city again... I had a desire to stay forever and just enjoy the view... And today we decided to tempt fate again and go to a township to eat meat... The cafe is called Mzoli's... for 100 rand for the three of us, we were stuffed... The cafe, of course, looks just like the whole township, very poor; first, you buy meat at the counter, then you go with this tray to the kitchen, and they grill it for you there... Don't miss this chance... we didn't care that we had to eat with our hands, that the table might have never been wiped, but it was so delicious... What else... I really miss home, I've been here for almost 4 months, but I haven't regretted coming here even once... In these four months, I've faced a bunch of problems, but what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger... #CapeTown #Travel #Adventure
