Hamilton Stadium stands on the footprint of the historic Ivor Wynne Stadium. The facility was reconstructed to host regional tournament soccer matches as well as Canadian football. It houses the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC, operating with an artificial turf surface tailored to meet professional football and soccer standards.

Engineered by the Arup Group alongside CannonDesign, the complex reoriented the field north to south and widened the stands. Early openings brought significant municipal repair costs to correct water damage, leaky expansion joints, and faulty building components, but the structure remains the central outdoor athletic venue.
