À propos du lieu

Gwanghwamun marks the main south gate of Gyeongbokgung palace at the head of Sejongno.

Gwanghwamun stands as the primary southern gate of Gyeongbokgung palace in Jongno District. The gate opens directly onto Gwanghwamun Plaza, an expansive civic space developed alongside the restoration of Cheonggye Stream and Seoul Plaza. Royal guard changing ceremonies take place before the portal throughout the daytime, concentrating heavy crowds along Sejongno.
