Football fixtures at Stadion Aldo Drosina anchor local matchdays in Pula beneath a sheltered west grandstand.

Stadion Aldo Drosina operates as the municipal sports ground in Pula and hosts home fixtures for NK Istra. While designed for multi-purpose athletic events, the facility primarily accommodates league football. Extensive reconstruction modernized the entire venue, replacing outdated bench seating with individual seats across all stands and upgrading spectator comfort throughout the ground.

The major renovation involved demolishing the old west stand to erect a covered grandstand with overhead protection for spectators. Builders refurbished the existing open stands to complete the arena perimeter. The revamped venue reopened by staging an international friendly match between Croatia and the Czech Republic, establishing the field as a functional location for competitive football fixtures.
