Swallows.

K and I were the first swallows from Kazakhstan to fly to the USA. It was my first time on such a long flight, and I was a bit exhausted. Upon arriving in my state, my first impression was the "endless bridge," as K and I called it. A bridge that leads to nowhere. We assumed the builders had some kind of plan for this bridge. But apparently, something went wrong, and the "endless bridge" remained unfinished. To us, it wasn't wrong; it became a place where we could go to watch the ripples of the water and the sun. It was there that I saw a sunset for the first time; it was elegant and mesmerizing. The water, which for a moment begins to reflect white, then pink, purple, and violet. The sun seems to embrace the horizon and go to sleep. And in its place come the moon and stars, which we can see because this is not a large metropolis. I fell in love with our city; it is small and cozy. And I felt a special aura—just as a scent distinguishes a person, an aura distinguishes a city. What surprised me most was that people smile. We greeted strangers and talked about the weather and the news. At first, it was very strange to me, but then it became the norm. I noticed that Americans are usually very emotional and eccentric to us. However, for them, there is nothing unusual about it; they simply accept everyone as an individual. If she likes blue hair, the main thing is that she likes it herself and feels comfortable. Our city is called Ocean City. It is a small resort town near the Atlantic Ocean. Americans come here to vacation, and the city literally and figuratively thaws and comes alive by summer.

Orange

At some point guys that I worked with saw me feeling lonely and told to find some kids to play with. They gave me an advice to check the place in the downtown. It was restaurant on the Shore road called La Orilla that means the shore on Spanish. It was the restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine that was opened this season by Alex and her brother Matt. They were inspired by their trip to Spain. There were a painted box with interlaced woman and men on it that symbolized the passion of saffron, dried stigmas of Crocus sativus that were used as spice and orange color from ancient times. I was given a choice of work that I want to take part in, like hosting, that was connected with talking to people passing through, were I could catch them and sun light by blowing bubbles. Hostess stand was in vegetative patterns painted with crayons, and ones I noticed a question written there, what is your favorite color? Than my colorful game got started. I wrote an answer: The color of the Rainbow. Than I was inspired by food, like watermelons homemade pickles, tomatoes, red onion and fig jam, and created flower arrangements with white roses stained by splashes of vinous color, maroon ranunculus and branches of red rennet apples, that I found in the Trellis garden. From that point I realized that the light from people that I work with illuminated stained glass of my life. Other opportunity of this job was working as a food runner, it was connected to kitchen, where people that were working are full of art that you can notice in details like marigold petals garnish and painting on plates. They were at the exact point of creation, mixing tastes and smells. The smart thinking move of organization the space of this restaurant was that to rich the rest room guests had to pass through kitchen, hanging out there gave an opportunity of dancing, sharing food experience and taking part in cooking process. This place was kids and dog friendly, so it was full of joy and laughing. One day working as hostess I was sitting on a bench making silver rolls, night darkness was illuminated by the soft twinkle from threads of electric lights that was twisted through trees, I felt that I am exactly were I want to be now. It was some kind of a great endless party, while you were taking part in something that made people happy, enjoying food, music and themselves. The last day I was staying in Ogunquit Alex picked me to Portland where her boyfriend gave me a piano lesson. This evening was full of white Russian and we cycled barefoot on the roads of night sleeping port city. Next morning Glen picked me to Boston where I had an appointment in MIT to talk about applying on IDM, after then I got to know what should I do about my further education.

My narrative about the Work and Travel program

Sundetkaliyev Baktygerey, 12 group Introduction It's worth starting with the fact that I learned about the program from my elder sister. And since then, I dreamed of going to America under this program. I realized that everything was real when I started at the university after listening to more and more participant experiences online (thank you,YouTube,Instagram,TikTok). My desire to follow the plan naturally evolved into a goal. I've benefited greatly from other people's experience. The main part Most young men desire to work abroad because there are so many options there. You can learn a foreign language very well, to start with. Second, you can discover the customs and cultures of the nation and observe how people live. Thirdly, you may typically meet wonderful people from all over the world and have a blast while hanging out with them. The last point is that you can earn good money that will enable you to either fully or partially resolve all of your financial concerns as a teen. So you can see that working overseas has a lot of benefits. People who have worked overseas agree that the most important factor is that you will always look back on that period as one of your happiest Students work in a variety of settings and do a variety of jobs, such as cashiers or waiters in restaurants, employees in waterparks or in crop fields, housekeepers, pool or beach guards, etc. You simply need to pick the job that you enjoy the most. Students can choose from a wide variety of programs to fill their free time throughout the summer or even longer. The most well-known translation is likely work and travel, which is essentially what it means. This program's goal is to give students the opportunity to work for a few months as they later explore the nation. I really enjoy this American program and would like to give it a shot. I'm currently learning English extensively, reading reviews of the program from students, and eagerly awaiting the realization of my goal. This trip will teach me the value of perseverance, and I hope to get physically stronger, and strengthen my social skills. I'm interested in hearing amusing or not-so-amusing life stories from my coworkers, my employer, and random people I come across. Conclusion Finally, I would want to express my gratitude to the IEC management for providing us with these possibilities! I appreciate you reading my tale and backing us in competitions like this one.
