Σχετικά με τον προορισμό

Open stone chambers trace presidential history along the Tidal Basin shoreline.

The grounds sit in West Potomac Park along the southwest shoreline of the Tidal Basin, directly beside the Cherry Tree Walk. Instead of a single enclosed hall, the design unfolds across a sequence of open-air rooms that correspond to Roosevelt's terms as head of state, tracing national history during his time in the presidency.

President Bill Clinton dedicated this national presidential memorial honoring Franklin D. Roosevelt. Washington maintains another separate site honoring the wartime leader, yet this installation in West Potomac Park integrates directly with the Cherry Tree Walk, giving long-term residents an unroofed corridor along the water rather than a closed museum hall.
