Über den Ort

Stockholm Arlanda Airport anchors the regional rail corridor between the capital and Uppsala.

Underground rail lines connect the terminals directly to regional trains, local commuter services, and non-stop express links to the capital. Privately maintained track infrastructure introduces an added passage charge on commuter rail tickets, so regular transit users often choose regional coach lines or connecting buses via Märsta.

Air traffic consolidation shifted domestic operations across the county into this single hub. Terminal consolidations linked former standalone gates into expanded central passenger halls, leaving terminal facilities interconnected by pedestrian links while the surrounding E4 motorway accommodates intercity bus lines.
